eBay FAQ #11 – How Do I Increase My Feedback Score?

Feedback is eBay’s seller and buyer evaluation system that indicates a user’s reputation on eBay. As a seller, you want to build your feedback score to indicate your reputation and experience. Here are a few tricks for building your feedback score quickly.
1) Buy small, inexpensive items such as office supplies, 1 cent CDs and DVDs, paperback books, school supplies, cosmetics – things you will actually use. As soon as the item is received, ask your seller to leave feedback for you.
2) Leave feedback quickly for your buyers and sellers that you buy from. They will usually reciprocate.
3) Ask your sellers to leave feedback for you if they have not done so in a reasonable length of time.
4) Ask your buyers to leave feedback for you. After you have shipped an item and allowed enough time for the buyer to receive it, send a follow-up email if the buyer has not left feedback for you. Not only can you politely ask the buyer to leave feedback, but you can verify that he is satisfied with the transaction and he received the item.
