EcoFlip: A New, Green Craigslist

Craigslist was always an interesting business concept, and now there’s a green version. EcoFlip, with their motto “Think Globally, Trade Locally,” is a new eco-friendly version of Craigslist.
So far, the site is split into seven categories:
- Green Living (clothing, books, wholesale products, etc.)
- Household Products (appliances, cleaning, furniture, etc.)
- Fuel-Efficient Vehicles (hybrids, biodiesel, etc.)
- Reuse and Recycle (items for sale)
- EcoPerconals (romantic, platonic, etc)
- Eco-Friendly Services (constuction, fitness, landscaping, etc.)
- Sustainable Community (activities, jobs, rideshare, etc.)
I checked it out for my area, and there weren’t any listings. I live in a fairly small area, so I wasn’t surprised that it hadn’t taken off yet. I don’t see this getting as big as Craigslist, but hopefully it will take flight. There are a lot of good ideas here!
