EcoFriendly On the Road

Our vacation officially started Sunday night. We drove around 1400 miles in around 20 hours. Not too bad, and saw some truly amazing sights along the way. The Appalachian Mountains may not be the Rockies, but they are breathtaking all the same, as are the Runaway Truck ramps we saw going a particularly steep stretch of highway.

We also saw some really fun, amazing drivers along the way. First was the “100% Ethanol” race-car we saw being towed on a bed. We also saw a teeny-tiny car driving along with a gigantic face shoved in the hatchback. Really gigantic. And really just a face. I’m guessing made of plastic. OH, and a hybrid which encouraged me to make a special license plate for people …. you’ll have to wait and hear more about it later.
