ECW: Punk Earns Another Shot at the ECW Title

- CM Punk def. Boogeyman, The Miz and Big Daddy V (Fatal Four Way)
Maybe it’s just me but is the whole CM Punk as a viable champion completely old? I mean they are trying to build him up as legit but when he’s defeated everytime he goes for the title it’s unlikely he will continue to go over for much longer. I truly think he needs to win the title at the next PPV or it’s time to get another wrestler facing Morrison.
Put simply Raw and SmackDown (usually) take a week or two after a PPV to develop just who will get a chance at a repective title. ECW, on the other hand, immediately has punk win a shot at the title so we sit here for week after week watching him and Morrison win and lose with no ill effect because we already know no matter the outcome of their matches they will face each other for the title.
Maybe I’m taking this a little too far but SmackDown and Raw are popular for a reason, they develop the storylines overtime rather than revealing it a month in advance. It’s almost like skipping to the middle of a book without reading the into. I hope in the coming weeks ECW changes something or give Punk the title because another Punk loss to Morrison will not make good TV.
