Elderly Friends Scooter Across USA

It’s stories like these that make me wish my grandmother was still alive. She would get such a kick out of them.

71-year old Bernard “Buddy” Rosenbaum, and 72-year old Bob Chase, took the bull by the horns when the pump began to get people down, and set out on the open road … on Piaggio MP3s.

Following the Lincoln Highway on a 3400 mile trek from coast to coast, the two friends began their journey June 13th and will arrive in Times Square at roughly 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 14th. People are invited to meet them there and celebrate.
