Over the weekend, the Electric Auto Association celebrated it’s 40th anniversary. The love they have for the electric auto burns as brightly as it did 40 years ago, at the 35th annual Electric Car Show held in Palo Alto, CA.

Last year, I went to the show and test-rode some electric motorcycles (scooter style). Then I shopped around, and found mine at the Electric Green Showroom in San Carlos. I’ve ridden my Zapino for errands and my daily commute for over 1500 miles now; and it’s a joy.

Next I’d really like an e-car, so I don’t have to use our biodiesel Beetle in the wet season. Sorry to have missed the show; but the press is still helpful as I keep an eye of what’s becoming available for the average consumer (me).
