Cars are getting more and more sophisticated these days. It seems that everyone is after the latest gadget like Bluetooth, iPod connector or steering wheel warmers. Well whatever it is you’re looking for in a new car make sure that having Electronic Stability Control is at the top of the list.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is a computerized device that reduces the likelihood of your car skidding out of control in a tight turn. Becoming an ace driver (like me) is not something that can be learned overnight and one of the biggest problem for drivers to master is braking distance and corner steering.
The ESC is capable of detecting wheel position, speed, and car direction to correct driver over steering or under steering mistakes. It does this by automatically adjusting the wheel position and applying brakes to either the right wheels or left wheels depending on the direction of the car.
