Elementary My Dear Watson: Holmes Demo Up

If you’re looking for something different to try out this weekend that doesn’t involved military squads, cute little bobble heads, or WoW, how about stepping into the shoes of one of the greatest fictional detectives of all time in Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis? I’m moving this weekend and kind of internets-less on the home front, but I loves me a good mystery/crime game, particularly on that isn’t attached to a CSI franchise and takes place in bonny bonny Britain in the 19th century. Focus Home Interactive has done just that by bringing together two heavy hitters in the world of fiction for a battle of the titans.
Your task as Sherlock Holmes, apparently, is to prevent the heist of a priceless painting from the National Gallery in London by gathering clues, talking to witnesses, scouring scenes and putting it all together. Famous French thief Arsène Lupin, a cocky gentlemen burglar has challenged Scotland Yard by announcing his plans to rob London of five precious objects in five days. The demo allows you to prevent the painting theft, but other missions that will be in the full game include locations like: the British Museum, the Tower of London and, naturally, Buckingham Palace.
If you want to have a peek, the single location demo can be downloaded from the following sites:
