Eluta Gets a Little Read/WriteWeb Love

December 14, 2006 by Mark Evans

Read/WriteWeb did a post looking at Search 2.0, looking at the some of the new players and three search trends (user-interface enhancements, technology enhancements, approach enhancements such as vertical search). One of the companies mentioned – albeit a brief mention – was Canada’s Eluta.com, which plays in the job search market with rivals such as SimplyHired.com, Indeed.com, Bixee.com, and Recruit.net. For anyone interested in search trends and a list of new search engines to check out, the post is well worth reading.

Hi Mark, thanks for the post this evening. We’re thrilled with the coverage Eluta has been receiving lately. Our mantra is to deliver the best possible search experience in the jobs category, and we’re now serving over 1 million live searches a month. We have some spectacular new features coming online early in 2007 that will be significant advances in the industry. Keep up the great work!

PS: It was great to run into you at Mesh 2006 last spring in Toronto. Looking forward to this year’s event.
