Engagement for 2007!
I think most of us agree that engagement is (and will continue to be) a very HOT topic for the rest of this dying year and especially the next. I recently searched the web to read what people were saying on this issue.
No doubt consumer engagement will be in every marketing department, and/or marketing agency’s radar. The making and building of consumer-driven communities around brands has ceased to be a luxury or a cool-brand mimic to attract consumers and -hopefully- sales. Every brand in every industry is realizing the importance of having a consumer-driven community that pushes for the brand. [Warning: This doesn't guarantee the community will speak positively on the brand.] Take the risk! If you’re pushing your limits and exceeding peoples’ expectations through your product quality and brand, you’ve got a good horizon ahead.
