England A played some cricket

Supposably it was an important match to win, all the more apparent by England fielding their test side. Some people scored runs. Some people took some wickets. But inevitably it ended in a tedious draw. Alastair Cook and Ian Bell’s 50’s will be promising, as they’re both in the squad for the test side. But Rob Key’s hundred probably won’t do much for his cause (this blogger thinks he’s still a bit too fat to play Test cricket. Other bloggers disagree.)

Ahead of the final test series before The Ashes, a more predictable match is unlikely.
