DistMon Error on Excel 2007

I keep getting this error when I try to open a document in Excel 2007. Anyone else getting it? I’m researching Google now. Just thought I’d ask.

When Excel 2007 opens I get this window that reads
Compile error in hidden module: AutoExecNew and When I start to close it reads: DistMon.
Do you know what I need to do on how to fix this problem?

Yes, I’ve still got the error as well on one of my computers. Not sure what the deal is.

Try to look into the XLStart folder, if ex. PDFMaker.xla is there then rename it to .old

See if this dosen’t solve your problem. :-)

  5. Eric says:

PDFMaker.xla removal worked! Thanks for the tip!
