Exercise Makes You Smarter

According to the Men’s Health Total Fitness Guide, research shows that 30 minutes of exercise will make you smarter right away. With this information at hand, you can take advantage and score better on your tests but first look at the specifics.

Scientists will tell you that 30 minutes of cardio will make you smarter, but they don’t say about lesser increments such as 10 or 20. Also, for the exercise just make sure you keep moving throughout. Running, cycling, and swimming are three good examples. In fact, it is a good idea to mix up your exercises as the variety is thought to help.

One other consideration is your workout intensity. Walking slowly may not activate the effect. If it does, you won’t reap the same rewards as you would with a challenging run.

  1. I guess exercising is a good way to release stress, so getting stress away allows your brain to relax, thus enabling you to think better I feel. It makes people more alert than usual, I think because of that, the reaction and thinking will go up.
This is like killing 2 birds with 1 stone and it gives me even more motivation to exercise more. =)
