Facebook Adds Google Exec as COO

The very popular and extremely fast growing Facebook.com today announced it will be added one of Google’s top executives to take on the position of COO.

The Google Exec is named Sheryl Sandberg. She was vice president of global online sales and operations for Google, and she will start her job at Facebook on March 24th.

This move comes at a time when many think that the site, led by 23 year old Mark Zuckerberg, could be heading towards a possible IPO in the future. The site boasts some 66 million users, and is currently the internet’s hottest social network along side giant myspace.com
