This is what arrived in my mail box today. I went on-line because I thought it was from someone who was paying me today, and logged on. No cash! So sooner or later everyone gets scamed, as Google tells you! The site is identical. Moneybookers should have a secure lock image like yahoo does. Anyone else here had this message? Moneypenny

yea im dealing with a chick named amber long. her ameail is amber33long@hotmail.com. she is trying to sell me a 2002 Mitsubishi Evolution with 56,200miles on it. its awd and turboed. these cars price at 18-20 thousand. she wants 2500 for it. she says it was her late husbands. and she had to move to her mothers in kalipsell montana. but the car is in new york at sellmycar.com. but she doesnt have her license and has two children. but i think this is a scam. what do u all think?

I everyone.. I received a similar email about a 69 Camaro worth 45,000 selling for 2900.. Just remember.. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Do your research. There are great deals out there, you have to pay attention to what people say and don’t ignore inconsistancy.
I found charges to my credit card from these moneybookers, i dont even know who they are, have never used them for anything. trying to find out who did

good thing my parents told me it was a scam because if it was tooooooooo good to be true i even went to the cops and to western Union and they told me ppeople have been getting scam like that so i didnt take the fall. i was so close to send them the money! Lucky that i did more reasearch and found this, this is a big help to. This is the worstest scam i ever been in. THERE IS NO WAY UR EVER SEEN THAT MONEY AGAIN they change there name, email ect. so DONT FALL FOR IT!

I found an awesome deal for a ‘04 Audi A4 3.0 on Craigslist for $2800.00 We started to do some investigating and when I could not get the “seller” to give me direct answers I went on and called Moneybookers.com Customer Service Center…They ran the email address I had for the seller and I was informed that this email address was NOT registered with their company!!!!! The lady from Moneybookers.com informed me to NOT send the $ because I would become a victim of a scam and be ripped off!! My advice is if they(the seller) are using Moneybookers.com, call their customer service # and verify if the email address is registered with the company.

What surprised me was that she said that MoneyBookers will SHIP the car for her. It’s like PayPal – they DO NOT SHIP a thing! After that it was easy to find “scam” stuff on the Net. I will forward her e-mail to the police and other places I know.
