Far Cry 2’s latest trailer isn’t impressive

You may be waiting forever for another look at Far Cry 2. The things we’ve seen so far are concept art and spectacular gameplay footage. Ubisoft has just released a new trailer showing off the sequel’s Dunia engine, but it doesn’t do the game justice.

I’m not very impressed with this latest trailer, especially when you compare this to the previous video. Up-close, the animals don’t look very realistic. The African plains, however, should be an intriguing battlefield.

Perhaps this trailer would look better without the film filter, which fools with the lighting significantly. If you still have any doubts on how fantastic Far Cry 2 would look, watch the older trailer below.
