Features & Benefits = Skills and Abilities in the Hiring Process
Key Responsibility – You must be able to credibly explain to the hiring manager why they should hire YOU as product. It is your job to convince them that you are the best candidate for the job.
Features and Benefits by Definition:

Features: Characteristics that physically describe your product or service. For example, go to an individual product and read the description for the technical specifications. Or in the case of interview and hiring, read your resume and cover letter. Does it describe you as the product? Benefits: Describes how the product or service will help the customer solve his problem. Tells the customer what she will gain by using the product.

Your resume and cover letter is your product label for the hiring manager. This information along with your interview will help the hiring manager rank you among the competition.
