Even if you’re a hardcore lifter who’s constantly burning calories and lifting for muscle mass, you still need to filter what you eat. Let’s say you’re 6′3” 200 lbs and you’re ready to jump to 235 thus making it weight packing time. You don’t just want to down everything in front of you. Instead, you want to enhance a healthy diet in prorated form.

This way you’re more efficiently building and fueling your muscle. You will experience better gains in muscle mass and strength. I have been eating along the lines of less lean. Although I’ve packed on more power and muscle, I’m also getting bulky because of fatty foods instead of getting leaner like I want to. This is something you must fight if you gain weight easily like I do. It’s difficult because as you increase your workouts your body naturally wants more food.
To fight the weight gain, remember to supplement your desire to consume with lean, high protein items like fat free cottage cheese, milk, and chicken breast.
