Fenway Hawk Attacks the Wrong A-Rod

You have to give the Mama red-tailed hawk at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, credit for having the right idea. She messed up on the execution, but her heart was in the right place.

Yesterday a Bristol, CT middle school toured Fenway and one unfortunate teen was attacked by the hawk. (No serious injury—and the hawk was protecting an egg). The victim’s name? Alexa Rodriguez.

The good news is, this A-Rod is A-OK. The bad news is, the hawk (a Fenway faithful since 2002), will have to lay a new egg as this one is not viable.

This hawk is a wise and dedicated fan. Maybe now the New York Yankees will learn their place in the pecking order.
