Final Fantasy: Dissidia is Almost Relevant

Almost. Aaaaaalmost.
I’m getting closer to caring about Squeenix’s Final Fantasy-themed brawler for the PSP. 1UP.com published an extensive preview and it looks as if it will indeed include the irrelevant heroes and villains who had the misfortune to be born before Final Fantasy VII hype impaled the gaming world with its hairdo.
Ladies and germs, you will be able to fight and rave as none other than Kefka Palazzo. Have you ever seen the video where a Kefka cosplayer screams “MAMA’S BOY!” at Sephiroth? Without hyperbole I can say that this will be a thousand times better than that.
Dissidia’s roster includes a good and evil fighter from each series. The list is by no means complete; for instance, there’s still no word on who’s going to be Kefka’s pure-hearted counterpart. Jeremy Parish believes Terra is a good guess, especially considering her half-esper alter-form.
The rest of the civilised world knows that the only true answer is Umaro, the badass berserker Yeti from the darkest mines of Narshe. Watch as he fights while totally disregarding your input. Marvel as he automatically launches ice attacks against ice-absorbing enemies. Clap and cheer as he does it over and over and over.
