So have you been waiting to read an indoor scoreboard in HD for the longest time? Well, neither have I really, considering most of them look fine as they are. But for those of you who have, now you can at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.

The four high-definition Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision™ 6mm video screens measure 14 feet, 5 inches high by 25 feet, 2 inches wide, providing fans with the highest clarity of all the action, including video playback.

The displays have a resolution of 1280×736 and a whopping 68.7 billion colors it is capable to produce. As EngadgetHD pointed out, it would make one really nice LAN party screen, or playing Halo 3 on it. Now then, wipe the drool from your desk and slightly weep because we really doubt you’re going to be able to buy one of these babies.
