Fishing Pro’s To Enjoy a Day with the Soldiers

This is what it is all about. Something that I definitely enjoy hearing about. This weekend the American Bass Anglers Association will be hosting the Bassmaster Weekend Series Championship on Clarks Hill Reservoir in Georgia Nov 14-17. Concluding the final day of the tournament, ABA will host a fishing day with the Soldiers from Fort Gordan in conjunction with the tournament on Nov 18.

Jim Murray, Marty Robinson, Butch Tucker, Todd Tucker, and Rose Ellis are among the pros who have already signed up to partake in the event. I will take my hat off to these pro’s for taking the time to show a great bunch of soldiers their appreciation for what they do. The event will include Soldiers being paired with a pro in a competition format that will award prizes to be given away.

The American Bass Anglers Association has offered the Military Bass Anglers Association (MBAA) since 1975. The ABA’s original organization was to provide an association strictly for military personnel, so this comes as no major surprise to see ABA the ones to host such an event.
