Fitness on the Road: Aquabells

If you are traveling this summer, it doesn’t mean you have to give up your fitness routine. Most major hotels have a gym or weight room. And wherever you go, it’s always possible to get out and jog or walk (but bring a map if you are unfamiliar with the area). You can also find some fitness equipment that is portable enough to bring with you on your trip.

Water-filled weights are a fantastic choice. These portable weights can pack flat in your suitcase. Then, when you arrive at your destination, just fill them with water to get in your workout. Aquabells offers a set of both ankle weights and dumbells for under $80.

The set features:

  • Two Aquabells Ankle Weights per pack
  • Two 13″ long, cushioned handgrips
  • Eight attachable water chambers

Each dumbell handgrip holds four chambers. The Aquabells are guaranteed not to leak. You can find these at sporting good stores or order them online from a variety of retailers, like goinginstyletravelaccessories.com.

    Ehh.
I’m not sure I’d be sinking that kind of money when I can simply incorporate more body weight exercises while on the road.
If needed/ wanted I would simply use my bags I’m using for traveling and maybe add or remove clothing to add or remove weight.
    Just my humble opinion.
