Fixing the Xbox 360 3 Red Light Problem

ImageThe 3 Red Lights Xbox 360 problem is a general hardware error on the console, which occurs when the motherboard overheats. Three red lights alert the gamer to the problem.

How to fix it? American Chronicle has a few suggestions.

To fix the problem you need to stop the level of heat the motherboard takes and you can do this in a number of ways, but it will involve opening up your Xbox and working on it.

If you are going to try and solve the Xbox 360 3 Red Lights then make sure that you pick a guide with a full guarantee so at least if it does not work you can get your money back.

Also make sure that they offer full technical support as some of these guides are better presented than others and you may find you need a helping hand.

Fixing it yourself, though, is tricky if you don’t really know what you’re doing. So the best advice is simply to send it back to Microsoft and have them deal with it. The downside, is of course, having to sit around waiting up to a month to get your Xbox 360 back.

Whatever you do, don’t try to submerge your Xbox 360 in water like that kid tried to do.

a way to prevent your xbox 360 of overheating is to get a intercooler and unplug after using plus the core system doesn’t overheat more than the prenium it just easier to get the core and buy live, hardrive/memory unit, and wireless controllers. I have had my xbox 360 for two years with no trouble.(if anyone had theirs for two years or more and it overheated may you tell me)
