Flying Motorcycle Super Sky Cycle at Sun-n-fun

Super-Sky-CycleWe’ve previously discussed a flying motorcycle so I snapped a picture of this Super Sky Cycle yesterday at Sun-n-Fun. While I’m sure the builder will say this craft is “perfectly safe”… I’m sorry but my butt isn’t going in that seat. It looks really cool though!

This Super Sky Cucle is built by “The Butterfly, LLC” and received a US patent for its design in late December of 2005. The patent covers a “fly-drive vehicle” with a folding rotor shaft and a transmission to power either the drive propeller or wheels.

“Every flying vehicle we design and build will be based on this patent,” Larry Neal, President of The Butterfly, LLC said. “It means we’re free to develop practical flying vehicles without infringing on patent rights of other inventors.”

A two person flying car version is also being developed. A number of different kits are currently available from $13,000 to $30,000.

I read similar article also named ng Motorcycle Super Sky Cycle at Sun-n-fun – Flight Nest, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me

    lowrance gps…

The built in proximity alert system lets you set alarms when you get close to these areas. That allows you to avoid the headaches that might come from traffic or speeding through a school zone….
