I figured that in order to find someone I’d have to talk to someone.
Makes sense, right? If you’re looking for a needle in a haystack the best way to begin is by removing one piece of hay.
So I picked someone I trust, that has a pretty good position of authority in networking circles I run in and asked.
At first she misunderstood what I was looking for, but after a few e-mail exchanges she got the picture and found information of a person I could talk to! Plus she is going to send over an introductory e-mail to the person so they know I’m coming.
Nice!
So, I hope this helps. If you have a situation of your own you can always ask and I’ll answer (anonymously or not, your choice) on the blog.
