It has 118,000 miles on it. Suddenly this week, the steering column moved in about 1 inch while I was driving. I can't find a recall on it, however, the Fords Mechanic tells me he has never heard of this. I am concerned for the safety of driving it. This car has been extremely well maintained, and for all other purposes is super! I now am very concerned about this situation and would appreciate any information about it.
