France’s Tatiana Golovin Still Having Back Troubles

There are rumors spreading that France’s Tatiana Golovin may have to retire from tennis. She is still having problems with a back injury, but Golovin isn’t giving up hope. She recently sent an email to one of her fans sites, www.golovin-attitude.com, and had this to say:
"Unfortunately, I’m still suffering from my back, so I have to stop again, I can’t tell you more. It is pretty tough but I am ok and I am still optimistic."
It was also mentioned that Tatiana’s back injury may be Ankylosing spondylitis, which is a chronic degenerative inflammatory arthritis. Golovin is only 20 and doctors say that athletes with this disease have their good and bad days. There is definitely still hope for the young tennis star.
