		<description>Other than the obvious reasons, I believe a lack of proper technology played a role in the demise of the eBay drop off model. The rush to brand copy cat franchises left behind a solid forethought as to how they would handle the amount of transactions that were required for profitability. Properly managing customer service inquiries, getting items listed, shipped etc and reporting profitability is critical to a successful eBay sales operation. I agree with Scott in that these store owners sort of expected product to drop into their laps without actually reaching out and working the business to business angle.</description>
