Biotech company sold to British unit (Herald Tribune)
According to the Herald Tribune, Environmental Biotech, which specializes in producing grease-eating bacteria to unclog restaurant drains, has been sold to the company’s lone British franchisee, Aziz Tejpar, for an undisclosed sum.
Environmental Biotech’s Urine-Off, a urine-eating enzymatic product that has experienced super-charged sales in recent years, was not part of the purchase agreement.
Hot tip: If you’ve been looking to own a business in the exciting urine-eating enzymatic product segment, this may be the right time to make a play for Urine-Off!
