Fraud Alert: Ingenious ATM Scam

 FranchisePick.Com)  During college, I worked on the cleaning crew of a small airport.  Flight students were constantly losing money in the snack bar soda machines.  One day I saw one of my co-workers look both ways, then reach up the soda chute to dislodge the rolled up socks he had wedged in the the chute, along with his free soda.

It looks like he may have graduated to ATMs, and a new, more lucrative scam.  Rob Bond of World Franchising forwarded this well-made PowerPoint explaining the scam in detail.  If you ever have your ATM card trapped inside the machine, you’ll be glad you watched it:
