Access Your PC remotely from anywhere for free. How? Download a copy of LogMeIn Free and get remote access to that PC. There is also a commercial Pro version which adds file transfer and remote printing. A good alternative to GotoMyPC in my opinion.

I also discovered a great tool for remote controlling other PCs. It´s called Teamviewer, is for free and very fast. Connection is established through a http tunnel and is encrypted. On their site http://www.teamviewer.com you can find the neat tool. Have fun!
