Looking for a new game to play? Don’t have a lot of cash to blow on a good game? Well how’s this price tag for you: $0. That’s how much it costs to play Scarygirl. And all you really need is a computer and an Internet connection (which I assume you already have, being that you’re reading this).

What’s Scarygirl then? It’s a story about a girl that’s washed up on a deserted peninsula and is hellbent on finding the man responsible for her haunting dreams.
The game is brought to us by Nathan Jurevicius, an Australian artist and freelance illustrator now residing in Canada. Scarygirl is his most acclaimed project yet and is described as “a psychedelic, dream-like composition of heartfelt stories and reinterpreted folklore based around a cute but slightly odd little girl and her giant octopus guardian.”
If that doesn’t sell you, I don’t know what will. The game’s been live since April 14 (a.k.a. yesterday).
It’s free, people. So check it out at www.scarygirl.com. It’s quite awesome.
