Free Retrofit to the Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel

Microsoft is not having an easy time of things with their faulty merchandise. They’re already about $1.5 billion in the hole for repairs to the Xbox and now their Racing Wheel is having issues.

Reports say that the Racing Wheel has been known to overheat and go as far as to “release smoke when the wheel is plugged into an electrical socket.”

So far, fires and personal injuries have been reported and Microsoft’s solution in the meantime is to encourage owners to stop using the power supply and instead use batteries to avoid issues until the wheel has been fixed.

Fun times.
