FullTilt Pros Give Tips on Bluffing

I love Gavin Smith. He has such the laidback, I’ll play anything at anytime approach to Texas Hold’em that so few do that I’ve become a huge fan. In this video, some of the FullTilt crew give a handful of tips on bluffing. Phil Gordon started things off very awkwardly when he said don’t bluff when you have a hand… ok moving right along. David Williams made his appearance on the show curious when he proclaimed that he really doesn’t bluff anymore. And why, David, are you on this program?
I’m not a fan of Annie Duke so I’ll skip right over her. I am starting to like her brother more. Howard Lederer did a great job of injecting himself into the conversation by selflessly talking about Gavin Smith and getting Gavin some showtime. Gavin talked about how he didn’t mind getting caught every now and then as it sets up moves down the road. YES! This is something that intermediate players such as myself should take to heart. When you have a good grasp on the game, you need to take into account that losing a hand on a bluff can actually be beneficial to you. (talk about glass half full)
I’d like to go up against Gavin some day. In fact, I’m declaring Gavin as my new favorite player.
