(FranchisePick.com) In the 14 months since FranchisePick.com was born, I have deleted 23,077 Spam comments from our lifesaving Akismet spamcatching utility. I often scan through to make sure I’m not deleting your important words of wisdom. Most are unintelligible random comments (”Your guestbook is an example of middle class guestbooks!”) or links to porn sites so bizarrely described you know that one click will send you straight to hell… and your hard drive to Geek Squad SVU. Rarely is there a pleasantly worded bit of spam, like today’s message from none other than BRITNEY:
Many interesting information on your site – keep up good worku
Thanks, Britney! Keep up good worku, too!
I had another email spam message last week that started out: “I am contacting you because I understand you are interested in purchasing quality mold.”
So few have great, attention-grabbing opening lines like that. It made me think of a great moneymaking venture for you opportunity seekers: Spam Copywriting Service. It could be a great work-at-home business with flexible hours. In fact, we could staff the training center through b5 media business channel experts: b5 resident freelance writing expert, Anne Wayman at The Golden Pencil could lead the way. We could put the whole thing together through b5 business… great hours, lots of demand… don’t make theat franchise purchase just yet… I feel a hot new franchise opportunity coming on.

lol… I get that sort of spam too… tons and tons of it, both here and in my personal in box… I have a vision of a poor translation program chugging away in some bleary back office in an almost ignored corner of our round world…
wonder how much they’d have to pay me to perk up their spam? a whole bunch more than I charge now for sure. ;)
