Funky People Brand
In an unconventional post… have you cared to brand yourself lately?
What is your character? your promise?
Do you have loyal followers? are you loved/hated or in-between?
Are you satisfying someones need for…fun? excitement? service? love? anger?…
Take a look at these two wikipedia entries on two famous and very funky person brands.

Toronto’s Zanta: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zanta
New York’s Naked Cowboy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_Cowboy
Perhaps they’ve done it without planning it, but they’ve surely become a living brand in the heart of urban centers.
Brand yourself to immortality!

As a marketing consultant, when I think of personal brands, I always think of the semi-famous Hollywood icon, model, “actress” – Angyline Angelyne (aka “Angelyne”) who in the 1980s started putting up billboards of herself around Hollywood studios.
Dispite her efforts, I think her billboards were probably featured in more films then she was.

Jon, thanks for your comment and especially that link!
..and yeah, I think personal branding is much more about the way you live your life, and what you -transmit- to other people; whether it be emotion, fun times, knowledge, experience, etc.. It all boils down to the way you live your life.
See you soon,
Ron.
