Game Of The Week — NFL Week 3

Every week throughout the 2008-2009 football season I am going to pick a “Game of the Week.”
The purpose of this post is to talk about a match-up that I think is the most significant out of all the scheduled NFL games that are going to be played the following Sunday.
After looking at the schedule, my pick for the Game of the Week is …
Dallas Cowboys at Green Bay Packers
Sunday, 8:15 p.m. — NBC
Reasons Why:
1. Both teams are 2-0 and coming off a week where they both put up incredible numbers and points on the scoreboard. I want to see if they have enough offensive power left in them to do it again.
2. Aaron Rodgers has proven himself to be a suitable replacement for Brett Favre. If he can pull out a win against the Cowboys, I think that you can officially remove the monkey off of his back.
3. Tony Romo showed great resilience in last week’s game against Philadelphia . He botched a snap (why does he always do that?) and proceeded to fumble the ball in the endzone. The Eagles recovered it for a touchdown. Instead of folding under the pressure, Romo marched his team down the field numerous times in the rest of the game for scores. I want to see what he’ll be able to do again the Packer defense, which was great again the Lions last week.
4. This week isn’t that great for match-ups as far as I’m concerned. So this game sticks out easily. I’m looking forward to the week when the Bills play the Patriots, because I think that the winner of that game will go on to win the AFC East.

I think I have to agree with you. I don’t know what is Romo’s problem, Monday night games have not been is thing but I am pulling for him to finish this game.
