Every week throughout the 2008-2009 football season I am going to pick a “Game of the Week.”
The purpose of this post is to talk about a match-up that I think is the most significant out of all the scheduled NFL games that are going to be played the following Sunday.
After looking at the schedule, my pick for the Game of the Week is …
Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals
Sunday, 4:15 p.m. — FOX
Reasons Why:
1. After Arizona clobbered Buffalo last week, quite impressively I might ad, I’m wondering what they can do against Dallas.
2. This game could have HUGE implications for Dallas’ standing in the NFC East. It’s such a tight division that one loss could be detrimental.
3. I’m still wondering if Arizona is for real. They started hot, traveled to the east coast and lost games against opponents they should have won. If they beat Dallas, well that’s making a pretty profound statement.
4. The Dallas Cowboys have all the key tools to win the NFC. The problem for them has always been execution. Let’s see how they execute against Arizona, who could very well be standing in their way during the playoffs in December.
