Game Voice Actor Pulls In Cool Half Mil

voiceoversuccess…for a single session of work.

Man oh man am I in the wrong business! According to Reuters, celebrity voice actors in the video games industry are demanding, and actually receiving, enormous sums of money for their talents. A single hour of work for a top-of-the-line voice celeb can set a studio back up to half a million dollars.

For us common folk, we can expect to earn and staggeringly tiny percentage of that kind of wage…try the much more sane and reasonable sum of $760/hour. If you’re good, reeeeeal good, then you might be able to work your way up to a semi-celeb position within the industry and command five figure session fees.

Sign my up Scotty, even for the lowest Screen Actors Guild hourly wage, that’s a good week’s salary right there!
