Gamer Tag Update
The month is almost over and only a handful of neighbors replied to my tag. Tsk, tsk.
Here are them nice neighbors who answered the meme, so far:
- Amy Tucker of IronicGamer.com and SimsGamer.com
- Angelo Fernandez of WowObsessed.com
- Nadia Oxford of PSMonger.com
- Joel Tan of Re-Retro.com
- (CE) Mike Leano of FPSRantings.com
- Erin Harvey of Play-Girlz.com
Thanks, y’all, for being a good sport. Its nice to read about those cool shirt designs and the wishlists that each made is really interesting. Found out a couple of us drool for an Alienware laptop.
To the other guys, c’mon and join in! It’ll be never too late to answer. Its not that hard to do and its fun.

Hey Aiza,
Thank you for including our writers in your meme.
However, as a policy, Siliconera does not post up any “meme”, “tagged”, or “about the author” articles because they are unrelated to the content of the site.
Hey Djera,
I understand that if its policy, well, we really can’t do anything about it. Heehee.
Thanks for the heads up and have a great day!
I drool for Alienware too, but I’m not a big fan of gaming laptops. ;) I prefer Alienware desktops. Why? Because of limitations in laptop hardware upgrades, that’s why.
Besides, the very concept of gaming in laptops is questionable. Laptops are useful for mobility, but gaming isn’t exactly an application for such use. Why would you want to lug a laptop around and play Crysis in a coffee shop when you can attach a sweet Alienware desktop to those massive 60″ HDTVs?
Good luck carrying the HDTV with your gaming laptop. ;)
Hey Mike, I dunno, I’m still a great fan of laptops. Never went back since I started. I do have a desktop but its all for file backup, not much for gaming anymore.
I’m a fan of laptops too! They’re great for business and mobile blogging, among other things. ;) Just don’t expect me to accept it with open arms when it comes to gaming. Hardcore gaming, at least.
The hardcore gaming experience requires a big-ass screen (at least 32″) that laptops won’t be able to provide. Funny part is, Alienware is aimed at hardcore gamers, so I find it paradoxical. Oh well. :P
