George Carlin Died of heart failure at 71 years old. He had heart problems for some years now. I’m not going to go into his career but I will leave a bit of my own memories of him. I’m only 32, so George Carlin was a well established comedian before I was born. I remember my mother getting a cassette tape of George Carlin. I don’t remember which one it was but I was pretty young when we listened to it. In fact I don’t think I would have let my son listen to something like that at the age of 10, but I had an older brother and sister so I already knew way too much about things I shouldn’t have at that age.
Anyway, I remember him talking about freeing farts and foods with disgusting sounding names like squash and guacamole. I remember seeing George Carlin on many Comedy Central and HBO episodes doing his stand up as well as in a bunch of comedy movies where he had cameos. Sometimes during his stand up he would talk kind of controversial things and some times he was just being sarcastic. Either way, you agreed with him and laughed along or you disagreed…and still laughed along. In short, George Carlin was a great comedian and will be missed. I’d love to repeat his “7 Words” right here in tribute, but I don’t think it would be such a good idea. ;)

Yes, he was the man I will miss him so much and he will always keep me laughing. You always kept it real my man..
