Think there’s such a thing as a sports gene? Maybe. I’m always interested when an athlete’s son or daughter makes it big in the same sport that made their parent famous. Such is the case with George Foreman’s son, George Foreman III. (George senior, in case you weren’t familiar, has named all his sons “George Foreman” so he’s got a “III” as a son instead of a grandson. Just an interesting tidbit there….)

George III won his professional boxing debut this past Saturday by “stopping Clyde Weaver at 1:16 of the first round.” He’s got more than his dad’s gene’s however. The senior George is also his son’s trainer and manager.
