Debitel AG LogoNow you didn’t think another German wireless carrier wasn’t going to try to take advantage of the temporary injunction against T-Mobile did you? Think again.

Debitel AG, a German wireless carrier, sure enough took the opportunity. On the 27th, Debitel posted a press release to their website about their 600 Euro ($884.20) bonus.

The incentive is simple. Buy the unlocked iPhone from T-Mobile for 999 Euros then switch to Debitel AG. When you sign up you get the 600 Euro bonus.

The reason behind the bonus – simple. It’s meant to offset the costs of buying the unlocked version of the iPhone. Offering you another choice for your wireless carrier.

Personally, I think this isn’t a bad idea. It encourages competition. What do you think?
