Get Geared Up for the 2008-2009 NHL Season

There aren’t any players wearing "sneaks" in hockey but there is plenty of gear. Fans are going to want to pick up official NHL attire as soon as possible since the new season is now underway. Last year, the National Hockey League redesigned their jerseys to have a closer, more tailored fit. I wasn’t sure what I was going to think of them but my son got a customized Calgary Flames jersey and it actually looks pretty good.
You can get almost anything at shop.nhl.com. Don’t forget – each team has their own shop (just navigate through the pull down menu).
You can also get gear from the Hockey Night in Canada shops online too! The theme song may have changed but it’s still the same great program!
