Get ready to rumble! Tennis preparations

Which way is the right way to prepare for a tennis tournament?

In light of the quickly approaching Australian Open (YAY!!!), Maria Sharapova chose to do a stint in Asia, a few exhibition matches, some tours around the big cities being treated like royalty. Maybe it works, I don’t know.

Serena Williams is playing like a madwoman in Australia. Working on staying fit and slamming the ball down the line.

Now obviously I paraphrased Bill Scott’s article on Tennis.com by approximately a lot. It’s been a long day of snow shovels and car escapades, saying goodbye to friends traversing across the country and the everpresent work place. So forgive me Mr. Scott for condensing your article to an itty-bitty portion.

Anyway. I got sidetracked. I don’t know which way is the better way to prepare for a tournament. You don’t want to peak at the wrong time although in tennis, there really isn’t a good time to not be at your peak. I guess we’ll find out what works for whom…and thankfully it’s a short handful of days away!
