Get the Scoop on Rocketboom

If you’re at all curious about what has happened at Rocketboom with the abrupt departure of Amanda Congdon, you may want to check out CaseCamp in Toronto tomorrow (Friday) night. One of the two featured speakers will be Rocketboom’s Andrew Baron, who is going through a very public and increasingly contentious split with Congdon – putting the future of Rocketboom in question. It’s a sad saga because Rocketboom is (was?) one of the most popular video blogs and showed  a lot of potential to convert traffic into a lucrative business supported by advertising. CaseCamp is being billed as an unconference-like event to bring together marketing communities. It’s happening at the Jamie Kennedy Kitchen in the newly-renovated Gardiner Museum at 6 p.m.
