eat Cricket, sleep Cricket, drink Cricket

This is one of the few things that is hard to digest. Adam Gilchrist is going to speak at the India Today Conclave. His topic is ‘It’s Not Cricket’. According to their latest press release, there’s also going to be Peter Roebuck, the famous cricket writer, on their board.

Basically, this is a seminar organized by India Today magazine where they discuss India’s achievements in the past year and how India needs to improve, etc. What Peter Roebuck and Adam Gilchrist have to offer toward India’s development is beyond my understanding.

A ticket costs like Rs. 75000. Well, I’ll pass! I’d better off watching some real cricket when South Africa play in my town next month.

  1. Uncle J Rod says:

Peter Roebuck will tell India exactly what it needs, a good spanking, just like he does to little boys.

  2. Scorpicity says:

And perhaps Gilly then will give a talk on how the Aussies could not overcome the thought of being poor losers.

  3. Uncle J Rod says:

Perhaps the show is Roebuck spanking Gilly, that would be worth a few rupees.

  4. Dinnie says:

    I’m willing to shell out 75K if there’s a Roy-Bhajji head-to-head.

Roebuck spanking Gilly? *yawn* I might as well watch WWE.

  5. ‘Its not Cricket’…its an art

will be the topic of gilly…in which gilly will explain how to maintain split personality of walking before wicket and coming up with ‘oscar winning performances’ behind wicket…
