This is National Small Business Week. In celebration, here at Bizzia we will have several reader giveaways throughout the week. The first giveaway is for a $100 Office Depot Gift Card that will allow you to buy some essential supplies for your small business.

As a freelance marketing consultant/writer, I go through pads like water. Just today, I was interviewing someone and ended up writing on the cardboard because I finished all the paper.
So…I need writing pads, then printer paper … and finally, ink for the printer!

My choice if I win…

If I win, I’ll say to my husband, “Look, I won a $100 gift card to Office Depot. I could use it to by a netbook. They’re only about $300.” Then he would say, “You don’t need a netbook. Plus, we can’t afford another $200. The cats all need their shots, and you just had to take a week off without pay because of the economy.” Then I would look sad and say, “Okay then, I’ll get an office chair of my very own, and you can’t sit in it, because when you sit in the chair, the back bends and I no longer get the back support that I need.” Then he’ll say that I spend too much time on the computer anyway, but I’m going to stick by my decision to buy my own chair, because I can get one for $100 or less, which is fully covered by the gift card.
