Glass Panes Cannot Stop Hunter Pence

Houston Astros outfielder and fellow b5 blogger Hunter Pence spent the night in the emergency room after crashing through a sliding glass door. Firstly, I’m really glad Hunter’s injuries are minor, and I hope he makes a quick recovery. Secondly, I’d like to note how badass Hunter Pence is.
“It’s pretty silly that this kind of a freak accident happened,” Pence said.
Pence said he was in a hot tub at the home where he’s staying and got out to use the bathroom. He had left the door open, but didn’t noticed that a friend had just closed it. He hit it with his shoulder, leg and head and it shattered.
“I just didn’t see the door and jumped through it,” he said. “I have small cuts everywhere.”
The 24-year-old outfielder said the injuries weren’t as bad as they looked.
“I didn’t really think I’d go through a glass door,” he said. “I was actually lucky, because none of the glass got stuck in any of my wounds.”
I’ll reiterate: Hunter Pence absolutely destroyed a sliding glass door by running into it. I ran into a sliding glass door once, and I did not completely shatter it, it just knocked me back and gave me a bit of a headache. So, in summation: Hunter Pence > Glass Doors > Al Bianchi. That is the essential difference between me and Hunter Pence. Also, I didn’t hit .322 in the Majors as a rookie.
